          You need to calm the hell down. There is no database that will be overflowing due to a few hundred morons posting nonsense. This whole no RP thing is becoming some sort of weird obsession with you guys, moreso than the people who are doing whatever you hate and much more annoying.

            Go yell at YDKJMF. I'm not the most senior regularly active staff member, he is. This whole RP moratorium was his idea. If you folks would contribute more to the rest of the site, it might be lifted. Otherwise, we just ban the lot of you and leave it in force for a year or two.

            There is a database that WAS overflowing before we got serious about cleaning up spam, btw. And would just start to overflow again unless we restricted certain minimally-poroductive non-spam comments. Plus the vast majority of those who posted RP comments (which was mainly unimaginitive cybering to boot) did nothing else that would have justified the database burden they created.
